Vineyard Notes:
The vineyards are located in the heart of the Russian River Valley, in Sonoma County. The long, summer days, followed by cool nights impart distinctive flavors, with deep complex aromas. The result is long, lingering finished from complex, superb wines. Chemicals are not used in the vineyards, and all wines are allowed to go through natural fermentation. The old vines are non-irrigated, head-pruned, and hand-picked. The traditional method of viticulture and winemaking is how the exquisite quality of our wines is achieved.
Winery Notes:
All the wine is currently made in the small, modern winery next to the still-standing original winery from 1885. Most of the winemaking equipment has been imported from Italy and the wine is made in the old, Italian style with the emphasis on quality.
